Our Initiatives
By December 2028, New Era Revitalization will preserve or create 200 units of affordable housing in Central Brooklyn while providing housing counseling, tenant rights workshops, and homeowner assistance to at least 300 households. Our team will work with city housing agencies, community developers, and legal aid organizations to advance the mission of securing affordable housing for all residents long-term.
Affordable Housing & Resident Support
By the end of 2027, we will launch and implement economic development initiatives that increase Partner with local business associations, merchants, and city agencies. New Era Revitalization is committed to strengthening community vitality and creating sustainable local economies, improved visibility, connection to resources, and increased foot traffic for 50 small businesses along Central Brooklyn’s business corridors
Economic & Community Development
By December 2027, we will provide fiscal sponsorship services, technical assistance, and up to $500,000 in bridge loans to at least 10 emerging and small community-based organizations in Central Brooklyn. Utilize New Era Revitalization’s expertise in nonprofit management, financing, and partnerships to implement support systems. Our goal is to strengthen the local nonprofit ecosystem and expand service delivery for underserved communities.
Organizational Support
By December 2027, New Era Revitalization will design, pilot, and implement a Green Energy Initiative that supports nonprofit and community-based building owners in Central Brooklyn through energy compliance assistance, energy monitoring, and workforce development programming, with a focus on weatherization, solar energy, and decarbonization strategies.
